Lean manufacture is common place at the Lighting Consultants. We are permanently value adding to processes by reducing the time it takes to produce parts, at a higher quality, whilst also being able to eliminate waste.
The goal is to provide long term, customer value.
We are not quite competing with a full Toyota production system. However, our continuous improvement has lead to standardized work, effective value stream mapping and we’re becoming more of a lean enterprise month on month.
Lean management starts at the Lighting Consultants by reviewing a products current condition and any activity associated with it. Not just in-house but throughout our supply chain also.
This means that we are able to reduce waste, reduce lead times and ensure equipment effectiveness.
